Building DropNex: A Hyperlocal Commerce Platform

The Problem

Local shops often struggle to reach customers digitally. DropNex bridges this gap by offering a seamless hyperlocal delivery experience.

The Architecture

I chose React for the frontend to ensure a responsive UI, and FastAPI for the backend because of its incredible performance and built-in validation with Pydantic.

Building this platform taught me a lot about managing state across a distributed system and handling real-time WebSockets.
